In a small talk with KahaJaun, Akshat Bansal the founder and owner of Bloni gave insights about his label.
How would you describe your Label Bloni?
Established in 2017, at Bloni we believe in modern ethical luxury that transcends clothing beyond creativity and imbibes it with a purpose that is unique to our clients.
Our bespoke process encourages nurturing ideas, allowing our customers to understand and create a self such that the garments become an extension of their personality, with each piece meticulously handcrafted using traditional techniques practiced via sustainable processes.

What type of Collection do you have at Bloni?
We cater to men, women, and gender-neutral clothing with contemporary and India modern silhouettes, such as sarees, tunics, skirts, bralettes, dresses kurtas, stoles, capes for women and jackets, suits, shirts, jumpsuits, pants, band galas, sherwanis for men.
What is the price range of your designer outfits?
The cost of the outfits at Baloni ranges from Rs. 9000 to 3L.
What type of ambiance you have created at your store?
We have given our store a very earthy, rustic, sustainable feel with the use of recycled sustainable light fixtures and raw walls, flooring blending with super lux hints to create a welcoming luxury experience.
How did you end up being a designer?
I was always inclined towards design and art, fashion is a perfect platform to showcase design with functionality, therefore the journey of being a designer began.
What is the favorite part of being a fashion designer?
At Bloni, we encourage an unconventional approach and believe in developing and nurturing ideas. Our process allows clients to understand and create an “innovative self” which would enable them to bring out the quirk in themselves. The visual tangent follows an absurd path, but the Origin and the End is distinct. It’s a journey which adds on and makes it unique and it’s own.
Which designers have been the biggest influences on you?
Yohji Yamamoto and Maison Martin Margiela have really influenced me in my carrier path for there philosophy and iconoclastic design approach.
What aspects fo the fashion industry would you like to change?
I would like fashion to become more seasonless, mindful, ethical, and gender-neutral to really come out stronger and sustainable.
