A brief history of the Brand/Label:
Glittire by Sakshi Verma consists of Indian women’s wear and Indian imitation jewelry. The brand is 4 years old whereas Neeru Verma (the mother) has been working in this field for the past 24 years. She started with a small home-based boutique and went on to rent various spaces in South Delhi.
Sakshi Verma (the daughter) inspired by her mother’s work, developed a love for fabrics, embroideries and Indian clothes. After graduating from NIFT, Delhi in 2015, she decided to start her own clothing line.
Glittire by Sakshi Verma opened their first store in 2016 on the main Geetanjali Road in South Delhi. Under the proprietorship of Sakshi Verma, nurtured by both mother and daughter. With a perfect blend of Neeru Verma’s experience and understanding of the market and Sakshi Verma’s new age, visions GLITTIRE flourishes every season.
In a small talk with KahaJaun, Sakshi Verma the founder and owner of Glittire by Sakshi Verma gave insights about her brand.
Which type of audience/shoppers should definitely visit Glittire by Sakshi Verma?
The brand caters to a wide audience. It is the perfect place for the would-be brides and their families. In today’s time where every girl has a vision for her outfits, we specialize in turning those visions into reality.
We offer a great trousseau collection, pre-wedding ensembles, regular occasion ensembles, bridal ensembles and a lot more. So, if someone is looking for a beautiful and trendy Indian party wear, they should definitely visit us.
What type of Collection do you have?
We launch 2 collections every year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. In each collection, one would be able to see a wide range of options, from party wear ensembles to bridal outfits.
From draped outfits to gowns, lehengas to anarkali, suits to sarees. We keep the collection as per the latest trends that one can see in the season. In every collection, one can clearly see the vision that my mother and I have for our brand.

What is the price range of your designer outfits?
We have 3 sets of category in terms of price ranges.
- ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 for light outfits.
- ₹15,000 to ₹35,000 for medium outfits.
- ₹35,000 to ₹1,00,000 for heavy outfits.
Bridal and pre-bridal outfits start from around ₹50,000/-

Just as I mentioned before, Bursts of lustre in the most elegant way.
How did you end up being a designer?
I have always looked up to my mom. She has been in the industry for as long as I can remember. I was always a very creative person. So, Designing and creating was something I always liked doing.
What is the favorite part of being a fashion designer?
My favorite part of being a designer is interacting with my clients. When someone walks into my store with a vision, it makes me a part of it and I am able to turn it into a reality. The process of turning a client’s vision into a reality is my favorite part.
Which designers have been the biggest influences on you?
A lot of them. But to name a few, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre, Anamika Khanna.
What aspects of the fashion industry would you like to change?
There is one thing that I have personally always faced an issue with and I still do, is sizing. It is very important for a person to try an outfit before buying. But a lot of designers cater to small sizes only, especially in their collection on the rack. So a plus size women are hardly able to try anything. At Glittire, we have tried to make a small difference. Our on the rack collection is mostly size 12, which is like a medium-large size. And we keep lots of margins in every outfit possible.
