The Royal Mughal Women – StoryWalk in Qudsia Bagh

Erased from our collective consciousness & to being mere footnotes in the narrative of history, the Mughal women belonging to a semi-nomadic Turkic-Chingizid lineage held a proud tradition of strong, independent and powerful women. Join us at Trip360 as we will take you through their stories and discuss how the zenana was, in fact, an industrious, carefully calibrated & orchestrated world and how they claimed their legacies.
These Mughal Women – rode into battle with their men, built stunning monuments, engaged in diplomacy, traded with foreigners, patronized arts, wrote biographies and minted coins, and a few who rose from being a concubine to become the Empress of Hindustan.
