What is the inspiration behind the decor of the cafe?
When I hear ‘Baari’(inspired by the song), it gives Bohemian Vibes from Santorini giving a cozy-home vibe. Several windows in the cafe justifies the name “Baari”.

If you were a customer in your own cafe, what would you order from the menu?
I would order Fireball Fries with Keema Chicken, Peri Peri Paneer Pizza, Alfredo Pasta and Hazelnut Cold Coffee. Bonus order would be hot chocolate in winters, undoubtedly.
What inspired you to open a cafe?
After working for 8+ yrs as a creative designer and User Experience Designer for corporate and big startups like OYO Rooms, I wanted to start something and build on my own. Inspiration to become an entrepreneur came from working with leaders and founders itself. Opening up a cafe was something I always thought about, but couldn’t make it a reality. Fast Forward to 2020 lockdown, when I decided to take a pause and rethink my career plans. It gave me an opportunity to take that leap of faith and I decided to start my cafe. With strong support from my family and siblings, we were able to design the cafe and set up operations.
How did you come up with the name Baari?
It’s a fun story! The inspiration came from the song ‘Baari’. It was trending at the time when I was thinking of setting up the operations. It instantly clicked! ‘Baari’ is a punjabi word that means ‘window’, and here I was trying to set up something that could become a window for people to have new experiences, good time, good food and whatever escape they wanted. And that’s how the ‘Baari’ name was born 🙂
