We did our decor ourselves. We wanted to create a place which is serene and offer tranquility in the concrete of New Delhi. With lots of plants, the subtle decor and evening lights – we are sanguine to be on the desired path.

If you were a customer in your own cafe, what would you order from the menu?
Sheltun likes the Veg Pastas of all kind and I prefer trying the complete menu 😇 – the food surely is super hygienic and sumptuous. We also keep curating many fusions and use them for events, live kitchens and private parties.
What inspired you to open a cafe?
The run for career and money we all are in – made us realise that we need to get our priorities right and do things which is heart and soul. Comes the cafe with the same theme, providing us the much needed peace and comfort and offering the same to the like minded people.
How did you come up with the name La Vie En Rose?
We were searching for something which goes with the essence of the cafe. Life seen with the ROSY glasses where all you can see and want to see is positively, love and happiness. What can be better than that. Now we are at Goa too and the response has been overwhelming.
What aspects of the food industry would you like to change?
The government need to support the industry a lot. The Red Tapism, Licensing policies, so much interferences by so many different agencies is killing the business of many people who want to present the same kind of fresh ideas. Much more can be done on that accord for sure.
