Tips For Dandiya Nights In Delhi
Book early for the weekend. October 16–18 is the busiest stretch, and early-bird tickets usually sell out first.
Carry a government ID. Most of these events ask for Aadhaar, PAN, a driving licence or a passport at entry.
Check the age rules. They vary a lot, from ages 2 and up at Shubharambh to 15 and up at Dandiya Raas Season 4.
Take the metro. Bharat Mandapam, TV9 Dandiya Nights, JLN Stadium, NSIC and Baansera Park are all close to metro stations, and traffic around these venues gets heavy on Navratri weekends. Plan your return, as the metro stops running at around 11pm.
Dress for dancing. Wear a chaniya choli, lehenga or kurta with comfortable footwear, since you’ll be on your feet for hours.
Don’t expect alcohol. Several events, including Shubharambh and Raatri Raaga, serve only vegetarian food and no alcohol.
