Delhi Art Weekend 2026 returns on September 26–27 at Travancore Palace with its second edition, themed “The Eighth City”. Delhi has been rebuilt seven times and is still in the making. The festival looks at the voices shaping the capital’s cultural and creative life. Expect an art exhibition, panel discussions, workshops, live music and pop-up shopping, with actor Imran Khan, designer Tarun Tahiliani and R&B artist Kayan among the names.

What Is Delhi Art Weekend 2026?

This is the second edition of Delhi Art Weekend. The 2026 theme, The Eighth City, explores a Delhi that has been rebuilt seven times and is still evolving. The organisers are Svasa Life, Usual Suspects and The Curator Mag.

The exhibition, Eka: Fragments of Arrival, draws on Delhi’s long history of migration and arrival. It looks at how fragments of places, memories, histories and identities can add up to a sense of oneness. The participating artists haven’t been announced yet.

Delhi Art Weekend Tickets: What Does The Pass Include?

The Single Day & Season Ticket starts at ₹999 and is filling fast. Workshops are not included and must be booked separately.

Day 1: Saturday, September 26

  • Art exhibit: Eka: Fragments of Arrival
  • Retail curation by Outpost: pop-ups with keepsakes from vinyl records to jewellery and clothing
  • Panel, Who Is the Audience?: Kayan, Naman Pugalia and Aayushman Sinha
  • Panel, The Future of Storytelling: Kabir Mehta, Tarini Sethi and others
  • Kayan LIVE (8:00 PM): a two-hour R&B set that closes the day (₹2,499, 18+, not included in the single-day ticket)

Day 2: Sunday, September 27

  • Art exhibit and Outpost retail continue
  • Burgoyne Original Masters masterclass: Juhi Pandey
  • Panel, The New Canon: Tarun Tahiliani, Zahan Kapoor, Malvika Singh and others
  • Fireside chat, Honesty in Storytelling, Filmmaking and the Arts: Imran Khan in conversation with writer-director Suman Kumar (Guns & Gulaabs, The Family Man, Farzi)

Other speakers and artists: Dibakar Banerjee, Sumit Roy, Avani Rai, Bhrigu, Ria Chopra, Gurdev Singh, Debangshu Moulik, Ansh Kumar, Amrit Pal Singh and Manav Dhiman.

Where Is Delhi Art Weekend Held?

The festival takes place at Travancore Palace on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in central Delhi. The building was once the residence of the Maharaja of Travancore. It has a French-British style and has become a regular home for the city’s art events.
