About the Film: The Film explores the history of the Parsi community, its relationship to the Indian state and association with the city of Mumbai.

About the Film Makers: Divya Cowasji and Shilpi Gulati have been working in the field of documentary film making for the last four years. Trained at the School of Media and Cultural Studies (TISS), their body of work engages with issues of gender, public space and documenting oral histories of minority communities in India. In addition to independent films Inside Out (2010) and Dere tun Dilli (2012), they have collaborated with NGOs and institutions across the country, generating archival, training and research material which have been showcased as films, audiovisual exhibits and online archives. Currently, they live and work between Mumbai and Delhi.

About the Producer: The Public Service Broadcasting Trust is a pioneering non-governmental, not-for-profit organization based in New Delhi, that commissions, mentors and produces independent documentary films.

About the Kriti Film Club: This is an educational initiative of a not-for-profit organization ‘Kriti team’. The Kriti Film Club screens and shares documentary films on development, environment and socially relevant issues, in an effort to influence mindsets and behavior towards an equitous, just and peaceful world. It also curates issue based film festivals and organizes neighborhood, school, college or institutional film shows. The Kriti Film Club has been screening documentaries regularly and independently since 2000 to promote ‘thought-provoking cinema’.

The screenings are being organized on a gift economy principle, please make a nominal entry fee contribution of Rs.100 (more donations to the Kriti Film Club are welcome and 80G receipts can be given). Every gift economy contribution will enable this non-funded initiative to continue promoting thought-provoking cinema for social change.
